This central site would work for a variety of uses including cultural and food and beverage businesses that would complement the events programme and surrounding public spaces such as the Amphitheatre and Millennium Square.

- Access: Closest public parking is Millennium car park and nearest vehicle access point for loading is Loverose Way.
- Permissions: Planning permission would be required for any use longer than 28 days and will be liable to business rates.

CURRENT AND PAST USES
- Currently the site is used as an operational compound by City Dock’s Estate Management. The site is separated by fencing from a service yard used by V-Shed and controlled by Paramour.
- 5-6 large bins are permanently located on the Millennium Square Compound; however, these will be relocated and the area resurfaced to host commercial offers.
THE WIDER AREA
- The site is allocated in The Local Plan as part of a larger site (Waterfront Place) for a mixed-use development. A planning application has been submitted but not determined.
- City Leap is interested in potentially using the site as an energy centre. The site is located right next to Millennium Square, which is managed by the Science Centre, We the Curious. Any uses should provide a better frontage onto Millennium Square to engage with visitors and people passing by.
